about cassidy

As an artist and dancer, Cassidy Tryon is passionate about drawing attention to the world we live in and how we experience it. Cassidy has trained with various companies and institutions including Doug Varone and Dancers, Joffrey Ballet School, Springboard Danse, and Skidmore College. She has performed with Ballet BC at the Orsolina 28 Arts Foundation and has danced in new creations choreographed by Robert Battle and Larry Keigwin at Skidmore College. Outside of dance, Cassidy is drawn to photography, media, and painting, and the possibilities for these forms to intersect with dance. As a creator, she is interested in the intersectionality and fluidity of our identities, and the potential to convey these themes through art.
